I hope this is allowed in here, I am not trying to spam however I made this pst on boards.ie and a member of this forum told me to post here as there would be some interest.

I am am member of a small charity (Irish Underwater Search and Recovery Unit) and we have an annual raffle on this year, Celtic Ferries have donated our first prize which I thought might be of interest to a few of you, it is a return ferry ticket for one vehicle and 5 people.

We are a small charity and we were delighted to get this first prize donated as it is worth a lot of money, so I thought some of you would be interested in buying tickets to be in with a chance to win it.

Cheers Ally for the thumbs up. As I said we are a small charity which won't have the connections to sell hundreds of tickets so therefore anyone who enters has a very good chance of winning. Best of luck everyone

Ally I've found from past experience that threats just don't work. Send her on a flight and you pick her up is much better.

You could but you would be as miserable as SIN on your own. Better to pay for the flight and then you have your meals cooked for you. OOPS!

Ah ah it's wasn't that bad was it? Can't understand why we have to have all the relations at Christmas and never see sight of them the rest of the year. I think I'll cancel Christmas next year. Anyway rest over the New a Year!

No I love having everyone but three meals a day does kinda not leave much room for rest. o.O
I wouldn't change it - there will be rest in January enough.

Am I missing something? the link seems to be for donation and not ticket sales. also the prizes are confusing, what are the terms and conditions of the first prize? the second prize is from where to Belfast? where is the third prize available?

The link is to paypal, there is no way of doing ticket sales through paypal so we are only using this paypal account for the raffle, so I am manually replying by email to anyone who donates / buys tickets through paypal to get all their details and put them on the tickets here. As a small charity, this is a small raffle, but with some really good prizes, so the way above is the best way of running online raffle ticket purchases.

The terms and conditions of the first prize is that it must be used withing 2 years (however in the past there has never been a problem extending this), it is for 1 vehicle (Any vehicle) and 5 persons return with Celtic Ferries on their crossing from rosslare to cherbourg. Simples, no catches, its simply avoucher that you use when booking.

Sorry about the confusion with the 2nd prize, I should have explained more, it is from Dublin Heuston to Belfast.

The third prize is available anywhere on the island of Ireland, in a location of your own choice as the company supplying it has several locations spread acroos the country and they also will travel and do a home session if none of the locations suit.

Any more questions just ask.

Just thinking, if I won second prize it would cost me a fortune to travel to Dublin,park the car, free travel to Belfast then cost of travel back to Dublin to get the car (if it's still there)
