Water Leaking from Fridge/Freezer

Hi
I Wonder if anyone can help me. I have a camper fridge freezer with signs of water under it on the floor of the camper. On investigation there is a hose from the freezer compartment which flows into a container on the back of the unit. Is it possible that this container is overflowing as there seems to be no drain off. Any help would be appreciated.

Hi,
I think the way it works is any ice melt or defrosting in the fridge drains off down the tube into the container which is mounted on top the fridge compressor.
When the compressor is running the heat generated causes the water to evaporate it may be in the cold weather the unit is not coming on enough to evaporate all the water.

What beakey said above...... that happened to us with a domestic fridge and we couldn't get it to evaporate quick enough in hot or cold weather, turned out it need a new compressor.

Sorry don't know enough about fridges to help further.

If it is a Camper fridge, does it even have a compressor? or is it a domestic fridge fitted to a camper?

Make sure that the hole in the bottom of the collection tray on the back wall of the fridge isn't blocked as this will stop the water from getting to the condenser and evaporating.
