Whilst I was in the nec show I tried to get a look into the bailey's but it was too much trouble with all the people that were in them on the 3 occasions that I went back,

Ally have you put the deposit on it yet?

I could be tempted, but the last version fell short in a number of area compared to the Knaus although this ones supposed to have addressed a lot of those areas. End if the day it depends on the cost to change.

Have you got overnight camping facilities available? If not, why not do a deal with Shanogue just up the road?

I see the Bailey Approach Autograph 765 won MMM's Family Motorhome of the Year. I'd say in no small part due to the full page add the innovative drop down bed. So I took a wee look on [url=

]You Tube[/url].

This is a very nice looking motorhome and with that drop down bed there is a lot to like. Low profile, bright, spacious, six berths and six belted seats. So very much in the family class. We also like the lounge and dinette combination as this is great for giving family space.

But it appears to have a serious (for us) achilles heal and that is the lack of a proper garage. Travelling with a family means carrying a lot of stuff. Wetsuits, bodyboards, cycling gear, picnic table and chairs, BBQ etc. Not sure where you would put that and more in an Autograph 765. But the boys and girls at MMM and MHC (the Motorhome Channel) seem to have overlooked that rather significant point.

But I wouldn't mind having a closer look but unfortunately I wont make Hagans.

its something I want to check out as I was disappointed in the first versions with the lack of storage. The other thing is the size of the fixed bed, some of the British made ones have a very short bed but I need king size for the length

Ally if you are going will you take a few photos of the 765? In particular the storage areas. I tried to look at it on the Bailey site but no joy. When browsing the 765 section there is a link to Exterior pictures. BUT it is not the 765 that is shown it is the 745.

And that storage area marked as number 5 does not exist on the 765. Downloaded the brochure and no joy their either. I had to grab this screen shot from the MHC review on YouTube.

Personally, I think that it is bad form on behalf of Bailey. I also think it is poor form on behalf of MMM for failing to comment on, and on MHC to sufficiently review, the storage capacity of the 765. If the storage is as lacking as I think it is then I cannot fathom how MMM could possible have awarded it Family Motothome of the Year.

So since Bailey, MMM and MHC have let me down can one of you Craicers help me out.

I like the way they have stored the ladder it has given me ideas as mine is up on the pull down bed. Not a big pile of storage for the size of the motorhome I would have thought. Thanks for the pics Ally and what a terrible day it was for it.

Bloody awful day!

I suppose with it being 6 berth and having to accomodate 6 people sleeping and sitting, it doesn't leave a lot of space for storage.
