Hi all,
Very new to motorhome ownership in fact I have not even got a spin in the new family motorhome yet so very nervous about driving it for the first time the biggest I have driven is the family focus

.
So if anybody has suggestions for a easy first trip I would appreciate it (nice wide roads

) I am based in Kildare.

Yes, I remember driving the Motorhome for the first time, I had to get out of the middle of Kilkenny and it was my first time driving a LHD in Ireland.

You will be fine, just watch the tail swing!

Hi Donal,

I drove mine home the first night thinking we would get home in day light and was not sure if I would get her in the gate, luckily she just fits - I mean just and it was dark and I think I held my breath for about ten minutes and then hyper ventilated thinking I would hit the eve of the roof! The joys - it does get easier. As the guys say just think big swinging bottom...em you know what I mean.

I still hold my breath taking her out the gate and it is onto a busy enough road but people always stop and let me reverse her out onto the road. I wish I could turn her but don't have the room - just take your time and don't be rushed.

Oh and enjoy it -
