Hi all,
Very new to motorhome ownership in fact I have not even got a spin in the new family motorhome yet so very nervous about driving it for the first time the biggest I have driven is the family focus :'( .
So if anybody has suggestions for a easy first trip I would appreciate it (nice wide roads :D ) I am based in Kildare.

Welcome to the craic Donal, I'm sure everyone was nervous on their first time, but the fear subsides after you gain experience and it becomes totally pleasurable.

Welcome to the Craic, Donal!

Yes, I remember driving the Motorhome for the first time, I had to get out of the middle of Kilkenny and it was my first time driving a LHD in Ireland.

You will be fine, just watch the tail swing!

Hi Donal,

I drove mine home the first night thinking we would get home in day light and was not sure if I would get her in the gate, luckily she just fits - I mean just and it was dark and I think I held my breath for about ten minutes and then hyper ventilated thinking I would hit the eve of the roof! The joys - it does get easier. As the guys say just think big swinging bottom...em you know what I mean.

I still hold my breath taking her out the gate and it is onto a busy enough road but people always stop and let me reverse her out onto the road. I wish I could turn her but don't have the room - just take your time and don't be rushed.

Oh and enjoy it - from the least technical person in here!
