Know what you mean but you have the great benefit that to explore you only have to jump in your van, and can do it whenever you want we have the ferry rip-off just to do that.
Not complaining too much as good old Tesco usually pay for me, and I am lucky as I have Somerset and Devon on my doorstep

Confused.

We would travel to GB a lot more although we have to pay the over priced fares. You lot can nip over to France for peanuts :)

Easy one that. SHMBO has Kilkenny born parents and cannot stand too much sunshine so sunny France etc doesn't come into our holiday plans but Ireland we have been visiting now for over 20 years, but only became motorhomer a couple of years ago after 30 tugging a caravan

But surely you can just jump in your van in Somerset and go wherever you want that side of the water?

Just move to Ireland would save all those journeys ;)

And we do,

Did consider moving when I retired but like most folk family won, and lets be honest if you live there it becomes less "SPECIAL"

By the way how do you do the "blue boxes"
