The Tribunal de Commerce in Paris declared the French ferry firm bankrupt but said it could continue to operate services until 28 January.

Offer 1. French court rejected a £5m bid by rival firm DFDS to take over the company.
Offer 2 Organised by the CFDT union, was also rejected by the court.
Offer 3 The Tribunal de Commerce also ruled out a €200m (£176m) bailout by the French Government was illegal.

So what future is there for Seafrance, the only two offers on the table have been rejected along with the illegal French Government

I'm just off to book irish ferries to france before they go up by 10% tomorrow. Sadly with family commitments I wont be able to take up the free trip to Wales offer. Still annoys that I get to France in about twenty hours at a price still cheaper than Stena/P&O for two hours at their motorhome for car price!!

Wife is 'happy as Larry', planning Paris etc; It is on my list of places not to go to before I die, Like The Oddessy, Belfast city centre, London etc;

I just want to be wilding by the sea or in the hills (home or abroad) can't figure out if I am very outdoorsy or just grumpy and antisocial.

Anyway booked Irish ferries via the link here. Does that get me special treatment or shares? :up:

The email I got said the prices to Britain went up but did not mention France. LOL.
I will be very unpopular if I haven't sorted it.
