Anyone carry a second toilet cassette for parking in those remote places with no where to empty?

Was think of investing in one and making an underslung carrier for it, or put it in the garage? would it leak?

i Was thinking of using a old 10 lt container that crop spray come in, some have a very large lid approx 4 or 5" and are well made. I know you will have to transfer the contents, but they are well sealed.

An interesting topic of interest to many motorhomers but PLEASE don't fit a Web cam to your toilet storage facility however you decide. :bandit: :D

Whats the difference in it being in the existing cassette or another cassette? it would be used only in emergencies when there is nowhere to empty. It would be light to carry when empty and could be slung under the van.

I have seen a few motorhomes with a second cassette door.
I assume this it to carry a spare.

North down council have a motorcycle with a holding tank at the rear and a vacuum tube to suck up dog poo. Perhaps you could convert your bike? :D

Seen those tanks Blag, when full I"d say they"re bloody heavy !! I find my Flojet macerator to be a fantastic device, obviously I don"t want to move to a dump point every time we need an empty,so, I hook it up and pump (up to 50ft) the "contents" to a manhole/sewer. Takes about 4/5 mins. to empty a full tank, and after the "black" I just do the "grey" and it"s all pretty clean when finished.
It"s probly" the best accessory I have on board, and I"d recommend it to any RV"er, dunno whether they"re available for Euro motorhomes :-) .

Solution re second toilet problem

 ·

Ally I have the answer to 2 needs at once. I saw this piece of kit at Antrim Hospital. Not only is it an excellent seat to sit round the BBQ, you don't have to get up when the need arrives. Just dig a hole before sitting down and that's you for the whole evening. I think I can get a good deal on them if we all order one.
