GAS APPLIANCE SERVICE

Hi Folks,
I just wondered if anyone has their motor-home gas hobs/grills and heating systems checked out and serviced.
I'm sure I don't need to give a spiel on Carbon Monoxide and that most of you are well aware of all of the hazards associated with neglected gas appliances, but I was just wondering if people with motor-homes/caravans and mobile homes ever really serviced their appliances ?
My wife's family have a mobile on a site in Kerry and they never had appliances serviced - anyone I have asked so far with mobile homes only call someone out when an appliance does not work so it seems that safety is forgotten about once we are on holidays.
I'm not posting this to drum up business from site members and guests but more as a survey..
Best Regards,
Brian
p.s Im not a subscribed member yet - is membership for 12 months from payment of sub or from Jan to Jan?

Hi Brian.

Most Motorhome owners have a habitation service carried out every year. This should include a check of gas pressure, seals and all appliances.
We have two members on this site who carry out this work and pay to advertise on this site. They are both in the north so it is possible you could contact Ally who owns the site if you are interested in advertising your services in your area.

Subscription is 12 months from the date you pay it.

Corgi doesn't exist any more. It is gas safe register now.

The adverts are at the top of every page.
