The Caravan Club are running a site in one of the large car parks beside the show.

I'm heading over on the friday and returning on the sunday in the van. Camp site is as Jack says and can be booked through their website. £30 per night though :'(
They know how to charge to park in a carpark for a couple of days!!

I think we'd consider it, but the ferry is really pricey. Anyone know where to get a decent price on the Irish Sea?

Decent price on the Irish sea? never had you down as a comedian.

Try http://www.nutttravel.com/ Motorhome same price as a car with Stena on certain sailings.

It cheaper by far to fly unfortunately. I would have love to take the MH with me but it was the cost of a proper holiday to do so.

Used to bring the Motorhome over every year up to about 5 years ago, had to stop the prices on the Irish Sea are just a joke now. In fact we used to go over from Rosslare a few times maybe 3 /4 during the winter and on bad weather nights we used to stay in Travel Lodges from 11 to 19 pounds a night go touring during the day and pick another the next night, basic but Warm / Clean, we would go to the nearest Tesco in the morning for a 1.99 breakfast to get us going for the day. Way cheaper than Campsites which allowed us to stay over longer. Always had 3/4 vans traveling together and had a great crack. But then the prices for the Ferries went heading for mars and put a stop to that carry on.. Pity it was good while it lasted.
