Howdy People, new member based in North Cork

Greetings

My name is Steve and I am based in North Cork, I have a 98 Burstner 6 birth and have tried most of the camping places around the area. My favorite spot so far is the Glen of Aherlow where you have two half decent sites. I have also spent some time camping in West Cork, Kerry, Tipperary, Galway and Mayo and Waterford so if you are seeking further info on these regions then I don't bite either.

I bought a camper van to find some freedom monotony, it was a good decision

I have a passion for messing with electronics too so if you haven't heard of Lead crystal batteries then perhaps its something that may significantly reduce costs if you are handy in the garden shed.

We purchased in March but other than a laminate window glue failure the van has been rock solid. You just have to love German design and engineering.

I am always seeking solutions to reducing my travel expenses, campers are fun but are certainly not cheap.
