Hi All, I will not go into detail about why I was in Trim Co Meath last Sunday/Monday but was staying in the Castle Hotel, originally we were going to take the car but decided go earlier and use the van.this meant parking m/home in hotel car park Tuesday morn on leaving hotel to enter van discovered all 4 hub caps missing (half inched) point I make is you are never 100% safe from those who want. Reported all facts to Garda and wait for possible result, these can be replaced so no big deal you can't be careful enough. Then made our way back over to Howth as we always enjoy the area. Good nights sleep in the morning I spoke with a neighbour who informed me one of his bikes had been stolen from the back of his m/home during the night, it was not on the rack but was chained securely along with his wife's bike to m/home,the bike was worth a lot of money you would know this to look at it, here again someone had spotted this and returned to commit the crime, in hindsight when at a place like Howth how many times do see a vehicle drive round , have a look and drive off again the answer is lots we must take note of any funny goings on etc you just never know what snippet of info may help, Keep your eyes open, sorry if this was a bit long winded.

Sorry to hear that about Trim and Howth as both great spots but regarding Howth is there not any security camera's watching the motorhome parking area if so it might have been a good idea to have had a yarn with the Harbourmaster for the police report.

There are cameras on the main quay but I don't think there are any at the end of the pier where most of the MHs park
