How many craicers where there? I was and had a great view from the front row near the harbour. I have to say that this air show rates higher than the one in Portrush as you seem to be closer to the action. I know there isn't as many displays but the quality was definitely higher (pardon the pun). The highlight for me was the Vulcan and the sabre, the sabre even came back after everyone left.

The downside was the traffic jams getting out of Newcastle but I think that was down to so many people being there as well as Donard car park being closed to all vehicles.

Yea we went to watch the planes but, we didn't fancy the crowds and traffic so we went to Tollymore and walked up to the Drinns.

This meant we were above the planes when they were in level flight. The noise of the jets was pretty impressive as it funnelled up the valley with the attendant time delay.

Thinking of going to Portrush with one of the clubs so we will see how that one is.
