Two weeks touring Ireland one campsite stopover
Hodson Bay hotel upper car park
Doolin carpark overlooking harbour
Doonbeg whitestrand beach
Ballyheige carpark at beach
Killarney Kate Kearneys Dungloe gap
Bantry carpark
baltimore harbour
Skibbereen Hideaway campsite
Kinsale road parking over looking bay
Cobh harbour
Galway harbour
Glencar waterfall
All these stop overs where trouble free and a friendly welcome every where. Especially Doonbeg where the council worker kept the portaloo toilets open for us during the night and to the traffic warden in Kinsale who not only let us park up for free but gave us advice on some good restaurants to eat in, Jim Edwards was a good choice. The Cobh aire was great so thanks to the cork county council for these motorhome spaces only 5 mins walk from the town great location.Galway harbour is also brill as they have the hook ups and water. all in all this was a good trip some towns we fancied staying had too many height barriers but thanks to our scooter we where able to park out of town and venture in . If more councils followed the lead of Galway and Cobh maybe we wouldn't be thinking of heading off to France etc.
