Spots between Youghal and Dungarvan?

Hi all

Just joined this site after getting a great tip about it from some fellow campers we met last weekend in Portumna at Lough Derg.
There is a fab fab spot for campers to park right beside the lake and harbour. We stayed there for a whole week and LOVED it!!!

Now we are planning to go along the coast between Youghal and Dungarvan. The weather is supposed to be nice again this week, so we are looking for some fab spots by the sea if at all possible. We have two small kids and a dog. A place where there is grass for the kids to play and crawl is much appreciated. Also showers and toilets would be great in this warm weather.

Any ideas????

Oh and i will post some pics from Portumna once i have them loaded onto the laptop.
Anyone been there before?

Somewhere between Youghal and Dungarvan eh?

You could consider Whiting bay. See here - https://maps.google.ie/maps?q=…59,,0,7.61

Coordinates - 51.952729,-7.773252

There are "no motorhome signs" at the entrance to the parking area, but every time we've been there, there were at least 2-3 motorhomes set up. Not a great approach road and it gets narrow in places.

Also, we recently discussed a motorhome parking area in Ardmore which might be of interest to you...
