Just spent a lovely weekend wild camping on the verge of woodstown beach near Dunmore East. we arrived friday night at approx 8pm and went for a swim, the water was very very warm and there were 4 other motorhomes parked up for the night, I asked one of them if it was safe to park overnight and he assured me it was. There was also a number of tents there. There were No Barriers, No signs about parking or overnight parking and there are public toilets there (a bit dated but clean) The only negative thing we found was the tide goes out very far for about 6 hours in the middle of the day. Coordinates 52.190 / 6.984

On the way home we went into Dunmore East and I met a Motorhomer who told me there were 27 Motorhomes there for the weekend, He also told me that he heard that Woodstown was not safe at night, so what is the situation, safe or not?

Looks like a great spot. Plenty of room.
