Salthill Caravan Park, has expanded its hardstanding areas to provide increased capacity for motorhomes and campervans.

The new fully-serviced pitches enjoy a spectacular location, surrounded on three sides by water and just a short walk along the promenade to the bright lights of the city.

With undisturbed views of Galway Bay, the new spacious bays have asphalt surfacing and the whole area has been fitted with what the site owner describes as ‘sophisticated’ drainage. Other recent investment in the park includes upgraded entrance and play areas as well as new communal buildings.

Ripoff compared to what? I had a look at the rates and they are in the average. €25/night for MH plus an extra €5 if you need ehu.

€30/night seems the norm these days?

(Unless you mean ALL campsites are a ripoff, with which I wholeheartedly agree... )

Well I think the majority are rip off for sure with the exception of the apple farm in cahir,

But the salthill site is rip off republic if ever I seen it, €26 for MH 2+2, EHU €5, awning €5, & 2 showers totals €38

Or even more severe is family tent 2+2 €30 ouch :o
