:-) Hi everyone
Im a total newbie and actually a wanabe campervan owner.
Just wondering is anyone here hiring out their van over the summer months I actually live next door to Pat Keogh Motorhomes but the prices are just way out of our price range.
I would go to a hotel for a couple of days but its my 2 little boys dream to travel in a camper van. The are obsessed with this idea the last 7 years and now they have me as bad as them. So if you or anyone or know is hiring please contact me
Thanks
Lisa Ann

Please don't take this the wrong way, but when you actually own a motorhome you realise that what you once thought we're high rental costs actually reflect the cost of the vehicle. Your only chance of getting to hire one is if you know someone personally who has one and can reach an agreement over price as that person would need to trust you after all you would be driving away in something they could have invested upwards of the value of a small house! I wouldn't lend or rent mine to anyone, even family and most owners will be the same that's why you would need to know someone very well to stand a chance.

I wish you luck on your quest, but possibly the best thing would be if money is tight is save up and rent one early or late in the season not June, July, August as it will be cheaper and you could get it for a long weekend instead of a week.

Hi
Just back in the UK after a month touring and yes we were on the West coast when the lovely Irish liquid sunshine asked its mate gale force wind to blow us inland.
Well we came across some students who had a Wicked Campervan, YES THATS THE HIRE COMPANY,
They are look like they are covered in graffiti but the lads told me they were cheap
Maybe not what you would be looking for but they tell me that they are the cheapest in the county
but they do bring a smile definite cheap and cheerful

I agree 100% with TFC. No offence meant or intended. We took our two grandsons away for a long weekend last year in our Motorhome and to say they were excited would be a gross understatement . I have already refused a few good friends the use of mine and they understand why. !!!!!
