Hello To All

Hi,
We arrived in Northern Ireland yesterday for the first time in our motorhome. We are staying at a great site in Jordanstown just outside Belfast for 2 more nights, then we move North towards The Giants Causeway. We will be travelling around the coast of Northern Ireland and Eire for the next 4 weeks or so. As yet, we have nothing booked, but we have a fair amount of info about campsites and wild camping spots. We want to do a mix if possible. If anyone has any tips, we would really appreciate it. We are in an Autocruise Stardream which is 23.5 foot long and just under 10 foot wide, so nothing to snug please! We have already had a local try to take our wing mirror off in a country lane in Scotland last week. We were travelling at about 15 to 20 mph because of blind bends and she flew around the bend doing 40+ mph. She said she was local and knew the road, so it couldn't be her fault! To add insult to injury, she rang me later and said she had found a new lens on the Internet for £9. Our bill will be in excess of £400! Anyway, enough of a rant.
I have loads of family in Eire, so we will be making a few detours from the coast, but other than that we will be travelling anti clockwise around to Dublin.
Look forward to some tips.
Many thanks,

MOB2

We would recommend Cushendun ,you can park opposite Mary Mcbrides pub , right on the waters edge . Friday evening is open mike so if you play an instrument bring it along or just go and enjoy the craic .if you do stop here make sure you explore the caves .
