Askeaton Aire de Service

Heading down to Dingle from Sligo next week, wanted to do a stopover as we have 2 young kids, just came across the Askeaton Aire de Service and was wondering has anyone stayed here......Thanks in advance. Jenny G

We have parked there,but stayed overnight its a small quite town,but the aires is at swimming pool might be something to do with the kids :up:

stayed there at easter.
nice and quiet, with aire de service there for waste and toilet.
they gave us a discount for the pool when we told them we were staying in aire.
its a level car park and there is a kids playground beside it.
there is nothing in the village only a few small pubs and a chemist !!
perfectly adequate for an overnight stopover.
