Hi all, just found your forum via a link on Wildcamping.co.uk and I have to say I am impressed by what I have seen so far. the site seems to be well organised and informative and i look forward to learning more.

We are planning to cross from Fishguard to tour for a week some time in late July/August. we are fans of the Aire system (well, who wouldn't be) and have wildcamped up in West Scotland too, but like to intersperse our stopovers with a night on a prper site to recharge the electrics and use the facilities. We have a a 6m motorhome based on a Fiat Ducato chassis, a small dog (perfect size for motorhome hols), and bikes.

First question: are there any dates over that period to avoid in particular locations? To give an extreme example, bearing in mind we live in Somerset, it wouldn't be a good idea to pitch up at Glastonbury for a quiet weekend when the Festival is on!
