Hi Ray and welcome to the Craic.

Are you planning on using campsites?
Or
Are you thinking of parking up overnight?

There is a big difference between the two as many areas in ROI discourage the latter.

There is an official Aire(over night location) at Askeaton near Limerick.
I don't think there are many in Kerry or Cork so you may need to use campsites.

Try Howth Pier outside Dublin as there is a dart service into the city.

I hope you get more answers from members who are more local to the areas you mention.

Enjoy your trip.

good to know, from what I remember just parking in Galway has always been a nightmare. Being able to stay overnight in the same spot is always a huge benefit.

Also in Galway near the harbour hotel is official night parking for motorhomes,

€4 a night for 8pm to 8am (pay and display) and €3 for electric (card from local sweet shop)
It's patrolled by private clamping company so make sure you pay and display or you will get clamped for definite :bandit:

Its about 4 mins walk to eyre square and shop street (main street in Galway)

We have used the Cathedral and the Harbour, each location is near the city centre , the Cathedral works out cheaper if you are parked up during the day as the Harbour is quiet expensive . If you are parked at the Harbour make sure you stay on the side by the water as parking at the other side of the road is for the apartments and you will be clamped
