Just spent 2 nights at silver strand out beyond Louisburg in Co. Mayo. Very beautiful and quiet spot to stay. Car park about 200 yards from the sea. 2 portaloos provided but nothing else. First night 3 other campers and 3 tents in the dunes, second night 1 other camper and 2 tents.
Road down to it is narrow, but no problem getting up or down and plenty of places to pull in to get by other vechicles. One word of caution, nearest pub is about 5 miles and nearest shop is 10 miles so bring your supplies with you.
