Hi guys thanks for the welcome....im a newbie.We just bought a converted1992 optare metrorider it was an old Manchester City Bus. We just cant wait to hit the road but still loads to do. I have a question that im getting conflicting info on hoping you guys can set me straight. Our bus would sleep 6 but at the front it has a rearview double seat with belts but thats it! Do i need to put more belts in living area if im carrying people in the back. Some sites are saying if no belts there then im fine. Thanks guys

For the safety of the occupants I'd consider fitting the belts if you do plan on carrying 6 people. I think this conversation came up in a previous thread and there was some good information about the type of belts and mounting points. I'll have a look and see if I can find it.

I believe it is a grey area in the law, especially for a converted bus where the number of occupants is not defined on a vehicle ID plate or in the documentation... In a new production rig of course it'd be there in black & white.

Any photos of your Motorhome? It sounds very interesting!

As for definitive information.... Not so sure...
