Apparently the aire is closed indefinitely with large boulders placed across it. I read this on another forum, so if there is any update I will keep everyone informed.

We were there last year on route to Spain and it was a very busy site and will be missed.

John if you need another one on the way to Spain and that was a good stopping area you could try Lecuate Plage. It is only about 15 mins away and in the direction of Spain. Space for 200 motorhomes.

It's more for keeping people up to date, we have a tendency to find somewhere that is close to where we decide to stop rather than plan to be somewhere after all it's all about overall journey

That's the best way.
Get the book out when you feel like stopping. Perfect
