Hi guys,

If you look at the bottom of the portal page there is a link to donate to the site.
I'm sure the site costs quite a bit to host not counting the admins time etc.

can i suggest if you have a quid or two spare you make a small donation to assist the site to continue as the leading forum for local motorhomers.

of course you are under no obligation whatsoever to donate ........just my personal thoughts.

Hi,

Looked at this before, just after the site was changed to 'German'.

I don't understand how to donate, and the fact that it is in euros would add to the cost with commisions and exchange rates.

A brief 'how to' by someone would be usefull and if there are charges I would rather do a cheque to add to the value received by the site.

Davy

You just basically put the amount in and hit donate, you then either sign in with a paypal account if you have one, or if not then use paypal as a guest to pay with your debit or credit card.

First time it was used today (twice) and I was charged €0.69 out of every €10 sent, I don't think there would be any extra charges your end.

Thanks for the offer but I prefer to keep everything under one roof and under my complete control, causes less problems. Meant in the nicest possible way of course:)

We are not using that much DATA at the minute, but I have high hopes for the site and when next season gets going again and we get handing out flyers etc I hope it grows very big, which of course costs more bandwidth and time.

I will be putting ads on soon (once they accept the things!) for Irish Ferries, P&O Ferries and maybe some others, if any of you book the boat please do so via these ads which in turn will support the site.

All donations are of course optional if you don't feel like donating then please use one of the ads the next time you buy something. From the start I have said that I do not want it to become a subscription site like so many others and by people donating and using the ads it means everyone can enjoy the information without locking it down to subscribers only.

Thanks

Thanks guys for the donations, with the money sent I was able to buy the new CMS for the website which allows a lot more growth of the site. We are planning some great new additions.

Thanks
