Just back from 10 days in Paphos, Cyprus. Weather 30 deg and unbearable to be out in but the beer was always nice and cold. 10 days was plenty in that heat, however I got through it and back home again. Sitting on a plane cramped up like a sardine in a tin for 4 and a half hours was not my scene either but I have vowed that this time is the last without my Motorhome. Looking forward to the pipe band competition season starting again on 11th May in Wallace Park ,Lisburn. Motorhoming every weekend from now to September all over Ireland,England and Scotland to various competitions, However it,s back to work as I have quite a few bits and pieces to get on with to break up the leisure time at weekends.By the way I hired a car in Cyprus and traveled around quite a bit and never saw one Motorhome or anything that looked like one ,the missus reckons I was like a drunk having to do without drink when I couldn,t find any. "By the way admin I had the Motorhome Craic forms with me just in case". There,s not going to be any Craicers in Cyprus 🇧🇭
Thats it for now .

I take it then you are not a fan of the package holiday! I know I'm not, but usually have to take one every year around swmbo's birthday/valentines/wedding anniversay just to keep the peace, I have even tried emergency surgery with 6 months recovery to get out of going to Gambia. I would however go back to Mauritius were we got married as that was really idillic and the only one were i did nothing but relax for two weeks.

Dead right there, no more package holidays for me, as you say it was our wedding anniversary and I always went somewhere to keep the peace. I like traveling but not an aeroplane lover by any means, however I would go back to Portugal where we were 2 yrs ago only by Motorhome next time The wife retires at the end of July and I may get her talked into a month or so at the end of the competition season :D here,s hoping . The difference between us is that she likes lying in the sun and I like out and about traveling around so a compromise will have to be reached.

Willy just thought of a good compromise.

You could drive all day & the wife could lie in the sun, right beside the solar panels 8-)
