Music Festivals 2013

 ·
Posted: 09.05.2013  ·  #1
After everyone had a great time at Vantastival I was asked over and over again what one was on next.

Ones that we will be doing in 2013 and that allow campervans/Motorhomes.

Body and Soul in Kells 21-23 June

Glasgowbury Draperstown 19th & 20th July (limited camper spaces, get in early)

Sunflower festival Hillsborough 9 - 11th August, their first time allowing campervans so not sure how many spaces)

Solfest Solway, Cumbria 23rd 24th 25th August

.. and maybe more that I will post later.

What ones are YOU visiting? let us all know.

Just looking at info on the body and soul festival and came across this so I'm outta this one.............................. ▶ I’m bringing my 8 year old son, does he need a ticket?

The Body&Soul Festival is an Over 18 Event. Photo ID will have to be presented if age is in question. However, children under 12 are admitted free of charge when accompanied by a parent (2 children max per ticket holding adult) (13-17 year olds are not permitted, even when accompanied by an adult) However we do ask that you register your all under 12s here so we can gauge the numbers arriving.
Then unto Glasgowbury regarding young Brad and his M8 but NO info available so I've emailed them to see.

http://www.goonz.cc/the-fourth-annual-stomp-in-the-swamp/

The Goonz weekend stomp in Ringscommon Sports complex 18th May. This is run by Red and his mates (the guy with the red 1950 Pontiac Cheftain and caravan at Vantastival ). From other family and friends I have spoken to, this is a great event, although I don't yet know if I'll make it. It could be one to add to a calendar for next year's festival shortlist.

Sunflower Festival was fantastic!! First year allowing Campervans in and it's a pity more did not support it. A great Family festival with LOADS for children to do, kid's zone EVERYWHERE!

Fatastic for adults too, great music and a great atmosphere.

Give it a look next year you won't be dissapointed.
