Seen caravanners use these in their awning, thought they looked damn heavy, on closer inspection they are made of foam and very very light, I wouldn't mind some for our canopy at festivals.

Anyone got any good links for buying them?

Been told they don't lock together if they are different makes. So would want a reputable manufacturer.

Something like this:

We got some in Hagans. Not sure of name. Come in pack of 6, each one about 2ft square. Very light and very useful. Can't remember price, but reasonable.

They look good but, would they need very level ground to go on, ie. not grass ?

We use a tent ground sheet first then one of the green mats 6 x 3 that Lidl or aldi do. All down and done in less than 5 min. :-)

Might be allright at Festivals, But many campsites only allow breathable ground sheets.

The ones i seen are "campsite friendly" think they are similar to the ones they put down which let the grass grow through them.

Did you buy many? How thick are they? Do they take up much storage space?
