The Well Moate Co Westmeath is a great stopover with free parking, water fill up and toilet emptying facilities. The best country western venue in the Midlands with well known country western singers Near to Athlone, Mullingar, Tullamore and the motorway to Dublin is only 5 mins away.

Well Moate

We went to the Well Moate on friday 8/6/13 about tea time to find the place deserted, only the landlord sitting out in the sun reading. He informed me nothing on a Friday but we were welcome to stay as it was getting on I enquired about food and they don't do food at all. So we moved on to the marina at Shannonbridge and had a nice evening and got feed & watered.
I found the landlord of the Well Moate to be very friendly and welcoming and there is music on Saturday & Sunday nights but no food
