Hello I had that problem last year, it tutuned out to be the starter motor, you could check it as follows. With the ignition on the starter will have a 12v supply on the smaller connection. Once you turn the ignition it makes the circuit to the second 12v supply. Both these could be checked with a meter or failing use a 12v bulb.
