Bathroom windows

I don't know what the setup is on everyone else's van but on mine the bathroom window is clear and to save ones modesty you have to close the blinds when using the on board facilities. Now my caravan had an opaque window which let light in but you could not see anything from the outside even at night with the bathroom light on. This has had me thinking ( dangerous I know as I'm on my own with eBay and a credit card  ) would it be possible to retro fit something like tinting film onto the window to improve the situation, has anyone done this or does anyone have a better solution?

Our's is the same, with a roll down fly screen between the window and the roll down blind. Maybe you could get some of that wrap you see on bus windows and get the motorhomecraic logo on it :D

John
And we just thought you were an exhibitionist lol our bathroom window is opaque. I lived in a downstairs flat (or apartment lol) and unbelievably it had a clear bathroom window, I purchased a film and fitted it to the window and it was brilliant. I bought it in b&q. I am sure you could buy it online if your too lazy to go shopping.

John. Ours is the same as yours but never really bothered us. I know what you mean about closing the blind.

If you go to a sign company they should be able to supply ( and maybe fit) a frosted vinyl. I have seen it done on household glass and looks fine. I would get it done on the inside rather than outside.

i bought a frosted glass spray from b&q a few years back and sprayed it on patio doors to stop me walking into them !
workrd very well and only a few quid.
needs masking off first and very easy to apply.

have also used the film on several occasions and it worked well too.

There are quite a few videos posted on youtube about how to correctly fit tinted window film. I think the darkest shade of tint is called 'Midnight'.

Just be careful about spraying as this could make the perspex window brittle, glass windows are different and would not react the same to solvents.

I have gone ahead and ordered from evilbay some frosted window film, the non adhesive type. I was too worried about putting the spray on as it probably contains acetone or something which could damage the plastic and also the fablon type stuff I don't know what's in the adhesive again to damage the plastic.

Both of those types require a it of finesse which with me having fingers like cooks town sausages and the dexterity of a drunk rhino I thought go for something which can be worked with.
