Hi
Thinking of fitting solar panels to our motorhome and wondering what other members that have them fitted think of them.
Many Thanks

There are quite a few who have them, most recently they have been fitted by rosdowney leisure services who logs on as michelinman give him a call (he is a site sponsor so click a link to get his number)

Not to take anything away from any of our sponsors, but I bought from a 100w kit from E Bay and fitted it myself, it is working perfectly even in our weather conditions.

We have been using a 120 watt solar panel for about 3 years now.
It is great for keeping the batteries topped up even in our climate.

In very bright conditions we are over producing power. i.e. panel producing more amps than the batteries can take.
In the south of France last summer we were parked for 4 or 5 days at a time and the batteries never dropped below 13.6 volt.

Well worth having on the Motorhome.
