Hi
Have just bought a lovely sheet of formica to cover the motorhome table. Ah, me thinks, now what is the best way to cut formica? 'I know' I said to myself 'I'll ask on the forum. There will be lots of experts out there who will put me to shame by explaining how easy it is' So - I'm hoping for some help/advise on this sticky subject. Thanks for any help folks. Appreciated. 🇧🇭

Very fine saw. Don't use a jigsaw it will tear and chip it.

Could use a Stanley blade with a straight edge and then "snap" it, but it's easy broken in the wrong place.

if you have access to a router, the best way is stick it on larger then trim with the router.

def do not use a jigsaw.

fine toothed tenon saw or similar will cut it.

As has been mentioned already, cut with a fine saw while well supported.
If you cut it slightly too big (a few mm) you can plane the edges at a slight angle.
A very small block plane would do the trick.
