Annagassan, Louth

Watching the "Takeover" on rte 2........it's a restaurant in Annnagassan , Louth. Have had look on google maps. There is a nice looking harbour and the pub/rest looks nice.

Has anyone been.......stayed over on the harbour, had a pint any feedback grateful. :sleep: :up:

Hi Biffo, we have stayed here quite often along with a few other camper vans,its only a short walk up to the pub, good music great food and Guinness,usually the owner puts up a plate or two of cocktail sausages later on in the evening,We hope to go back a few more times this summer.

Sounds good. Is there a beach nearby ?. Kinda wondering how I haven't heard of it sooner. Thanks for the info. :sleep: :up:

Yes there is a beach just on the other side of the village but there is a safer one a few miles up the road towards clougherhead but unfortunately you have to park on the road as there are height barriers on the car park.there is a shingle or stoney beach just behind the pier in Annagassan also.
