Put two in and that will help, as for makes a lot of people swear by elcosol, but I have two I got from Hagans which are not elcosol and are doing fine

I have 2 Platinum Leisure 110ah batteries that I put in my Arapaho when I got it new in 2008. I then fitted a 120watt Solar Panel and my batteries never be below 12v even after a full night of use to around 1am with 19" TV and 16" TV all Led lights and phone chargers etc All through the winter my batteries are sitting at 13.8 amps with the solar panel .I never have any problems with the Platinum Leisure and would recommend them to anyone. :D

If you require any more info on the batteries I can supply and deliver them to you if you want to PM me

I have just returned and had a refund on two 100ah ELECSOL purchased in Sept 12 Previously got one replaced in Feb. they both then collapsed. I had them tested and they were found to be 43% and 46% of what they should be. Through exhaustive research I can tell you that there is NO such thing as a LEISURE battery (see latest Caravan Club Mag.) The rate at which a battery is discharged is a big factor. if you draw only a 1 or 2amp load you will get more amp-hours (AH) than if you draw 5 or 6 amps. Batteries are designed to give the rated AH at a specified discharge rate so a 100AH battery will only provide one hundred hours of power if it is discharged at the appropriate rate. My advise is to buy ONLY from someone who can explain to you the discharge rate (which is found on a sticker on a lot of batteries) My new batteries show 90AH ,115AH, and135AH. My usual discharge rate is 6/7amps so I expect to achieve 115AH. or approx 16 hours use. With a lower rate of discharge I would get a higher AH and with a higher rate of discharge I would get a lower AH Hope this helps

good enough advise, but how can anyone of us apply it? All very well for the show to open 6 on a bench but we won't have that luxury.

He didn't even name the make of the only one good one 🇧🇭

Yep, I thought that a bit daft, why bother with the whole video if not going to tell us what make the good one was. Wonder is there a follow up video.
