Still searching motorhome options a rear lounge is tempting are there any rear lounge models with decent storage. To date only rear bed models we saw that have reasonable storage.
The subscribed area of the forum I cannot seem to see there what is that for ?

Just another thing to consider. I don't think you will find one Motorhomer who is 100% satisfied with their Motorhome, there is always compromises with each layout.

Well my Hobby Toskana is perfect for us at the moment. Overhead double and bunks at the back. Havent seen one I would change too.
Trouble with back lounges. Great for seating and partying but not confortable for a bed. Especially when you have to make it up a 2 in the morning when you have had a few too many cherberts. :D

Interesting comment on the rear lounge, maybe we have been looking to much into day time use and not the whole motorhome package.
Subscribed section seems of benefit also read topic on the subject however we do not use credit cards online as we lost some money a couple of years ago due to a fraudster cloning our card, is there a normal way to send a cheque, postal order or cash payment please ?

Ally can let you know how to pay other than by credit card.

A lot of motorhoming involves outdoor living/socialising, but the best thing to do is look at all the various layouts and find which one suits you best after all some people like a rear lounge but others prefer a fixed bed

Wouldn't have anything other than a u shape lounge.gives you plenty of space during the day and a good comfortable bed at night which takes less than 2 minutes to make up even with a few cans of lager in you.

Have to agree with Martin that the u shape lounge works well for me and gives plenty of room through the day when it is most needed, however this is why there is so many variations of Motorhomes to suit the needs of each individual.
Happy Motorhoming regardless of what layout you have.

We set out with a view to the rear lounge being used to caravans, storage being our only issue though a bed over the cab may be useful storage space other than sleeping.

You would be suprised how much storage a motorhome has, we came from a large hobby caravan to a motorhome and were actually better off for storage. If you go to the likes of donaghys who have a large range of motorhome you can see what layout suits best and what storage you can get.

We went for a low profile with fixed bed and have no regets. The low profile is better on Diesel as there is less wind drag due to the low front. Also there is good storage under the fixed bed whitch is handy as it is always made up. We have seating for six if you include the two cab seats. It is four berth but realy only suitable for two if you cannot use the awning. Best of luck with whatever you decide !

Billy, I don't think anyone has found the perfect Motorhome yet. The years pass by and we get older and our needs change. We have had many motorhomes over the years but at the moment we have an Adria A Class Vision that we are delighted with.we have a double over the can that can be lowered and 2 singles at the back and a garage for a scooter. We also tow a trailer with my 2 CV in it. Althoughter we are pease. My advice for what it's worth is choose what you hunk will meet your needs now. It may change in the future but you can always spend your children's inheritance and have no conscience about it.

a dealer may hire you a van if he thought you might buy it and take the hire cost off the price of the van if you did

Hiring the layout we settle upon is an option that crossed our minds, one motorhome dealer has offered us the option to try a weekend away to satisfy any reservations we may have.
