Nice to have a years ticket! mine is due on the 24th March - but as it's also an Auto-Trail I should have no issues ;)

With the number of miles the average. Motorhome outs on in a year I think it's scandalous that we need to have a yearly MOT. It's a money rip off for the Gov. I would have thought every other year would be sufficient. Does anyone else agree with me?

Jack, Down south it is every two years if Motorhome is under ten years old and every year after that.

Just got the yearly one ,no mention of the 2 year cert . I must make enquiries Thanks for that.

Made enquiries about the 2 year cert and was told it was only in the South that the 2 year cert is issued.

I done my first camper ''DOE'' test 2011, just before the mandatory introduction date for testing. At that stage I got a 1 year cert. When the new test was introduced I was entitled to get an extra year cert, which expired this February. I done the test in CP Commnercials recently and passed no problem. I now have to collect the Cert from Dublin Motor Tax Office, when I get the time. Have to say CP Commercials replaced a brake lite at the test stage,- free of charge - so great service.
A point of interest is you cannot tax your camper on-line, unless you have an current pass cert.
