Mer wash & polish does exactly what it says on the bottle. Brings the van up lovely. Couple of hours and sparkle including the roof :D 8-)

autoglym resin polish

no matter what you use if you dont clean the roof a few times a year it will just leave black streaks

Over the years I have used the majority of polishes but I must say that the one Maguires have for the boats etc is by far the best and its relatively easy to put on. The shine lasts for a good 12 months. I would not use anything else.

Don't forget the roof. Helps stop black streaks running down side panels

i haven't heard that one...lol

but mer polish is known to be very slightly abrasive which would be worse

Halfords have the Mer car wash & Mer polish. I've been using Mer on my bikes for years as its a lazy mans way to get a shine, fast :-)

I'm not into meticulous cleaning & polishing.
