Hi,
Use a quilt, get yourself a fleece underblanket, make sure to get a cotton quilt cover that is warm to the touch. Get a couple of fleece throws they are invaluable. Get yourself a wok, it can be used as a pot and a pan. We use melamine plates and cups, no rattle when driving (although we have glasses). We have stainless steel cutlery with plastic handles and plastic kitchen tools, how exciting kitting out the camper. I am sure you will get lots of advice.

It depends on your space, what comfort level you want, and what you can afford.

The Duvalay System is superb and it's just roll up and store in the bag afterwards (very very comfortable) and just a minute or two to deploy and rollup.

Cheap non slip matting to act as cushioners between items (Poundland is sufficient). If you have a microwave you can't use Melamine, so the best there is cheaper easily replaceable delf from any of the Asda or Tesco Branches for easy replacement of breakages. Other than that it's a matter of deciding what is used most and it goes in the handiest and closest to you spaces....after that is everything into it's own space on priority usage.

Some people like a slow cooker, waterless cookware that is stackable vertically over one ring, or one of the airfryers or remoska ovens.

Don't forget nice wine glasses. I hate a good French Claret out of plastic glasses. They are worth protecting as wine tastes much nice re out of a nice glass.

Thanks guys, interesting about bedclothes. I thought sleeping bags due to size etc would be the way to go but I bow to experience. Yes I agree about good wines glasses and delphware for adults. Thanks again

mmi1 dont worry you will soon learn as you go and also meet other friendly Motor-homers. That's what its all about meeting other friendly folk with the same interest over a glass of wine or whatever you enjoy. I've found that motor-homing brings us all to the same level - ENJOYMENT.
