Bought a new motorhome that needs a few minor repairs. One problem is the outer pane of window is cracked. Does anyone know if it can be repaired? Thanks

Not local but they do seem to get good reviews

http://caravanwindows.co.uk/contact-us/

Quote
THE SERVICE: Upon contacting us, you will be given an all inclusive quotation based on the details of the window to be replaced.

We will then arrange for our carrier to call and collect your damaged unit. Once received, we will make the replacement using dimensions and fittings etc. from your damaged unit, (it does not matter how badly damaged the original is).

The new replacement is packaged and boxed and sent back to your nominated address on our 24 hour service.

Please note: Delivery to Ireland, Highlands of Scotland, Channel and Offshore Islands takes longer.

YOUR NEW WINDOW: Is manufactured by us in the UK using individual moulds and the highest quality acrylic. Many people are not aware that the colour tint of the original windows fade drastically. EECO carry stocks of many different tints of acrylic, and from these, we endeavour to match the tint of the window sent and NOT what the original colour was

Is the bumper on your Motorhome damaged or have you got none on it at all. I can repair a plastic bumper if its not to badly damaged.

It is fibreglass and is badly cracked. It is very flimsy and I think it will fall to pieces when i take it off but will have a go at it anyway

If it is only cracked, even in several places and flimsy it can be repaired and strengthened with fibreglass matting and resin. It is a time consuming job but a hell of a lot cheaper than a new one. I repaired a rear skirt on a Burstner that caught on a bollard and was pretty badly damaged but turned out like new. The only thing I did wrong was that I did not take a photo of it before and after it was repaired.

Did you not try to get a similar size one off a scrapped Caravan, might not be a bad idea to put a wanted advert on Motorhomecraic or Done Deal with the Dimensions.
