I’m not sure if these have been mentioned on the craic but I have seen a lot of adverts of e sims lately were you download an app not a physical SIM card and use the data on it from whatever country you’re in ,sounds great in theory but wondering are they consistent and reliable

I think you have to have a compatible phone, after that they appear to work fine

I have used an esim from Rockee, recommended on here some years ago, it worked perfectly on my phone . Not all phones can use eSims.

Mine probably won’t cause it’s old but it’s just an app, I’ll have a look at a couple but I bet it dosnt ifone 15 or above, stuff like that
