Has anyone had this engine fault code and solved it.
It first happened on a dual carriageway cruisng at 55mph , flat road no straining on the engine. I cleared the fault and all seemed OK, then 4 weeks later going up a very steep hill , it came back on. There was no loss of power on either occasion, the van drove normally.
The fault is caused by the "blow-heater ( oil vapour heater) being open circuit or shorted" . Dr Google says "it rarely causes immediate drivability issues" and suggests "my emissions may not be optimally controlled. ( although my wife suggests any faults with my emissions can't be fixed!)
I'm tempted to keep driving and just clearing the fault when it appears, unless anybody here has experience that would recommend getting the unit replaced.
