A very sad day. Bertie McCullough has unfortunately passed away after an illness.
Many many of you knew Bertie and if you didn't you were bound to have had your photograph taken by him. He was a legend on Motorhomecraic, a man that put us all to shame at many a music festival, enjoying the music, taking pictures and with his Carlsberg tankard in his hand and a big grin.
I thanked Bertie publicly many times for capturing all the memories from MHC, if it hadn't of been for him so many memories would be lost. I heard many times 'here he comes with that camera again' but people quickly realised they now had the memories to look back on. "right folks gather round get your photo taken"
I've known Bertie only since 2011, but Bertie and Dee have been legendary, Dee always smiling and always dancing and the most photographed Lady in the world
I can't say Bertie and I always seen eye to eye, he could be a very stubborn and a tad cheeky man, just like myself. But we always carried on as if nothing had happened and we've always spoken very highly of the legend that was Bertie!!
Its a sad day for the Motorhome community, for the music community and for everyone that knew him, however all our thoughts turn to Dee & Kendra and family.
We are so sorry for your loss
stay strong.
** We have been advised that there will be no funeral. **
Ally and everyone at Motorhome Craic.
