Anyone buy a new Sat Nav recently. I am looking for recommendations. I have a Snooper for the last ten years and am very happy with it but it started switching itself off intermittently so maybe I need a new one.

Sygic truck is a good one, you can put in van dimensions, weight etc

I use copilot , dont remember ever having a problem with it. There is also a camper add on for the car version of Sygic, I bought it but haven't used it yet, just have it as a backup .

I use sygic myself and google maps...i find the search feature in sygic isn't great though for eircodes or place's so sometimes i'll find where i'm heading on google maps, then drop a pin to find the co-ordinates and then input them into sygic to hopefully bring me by the main roads where possible and avoiding low bridges etc....the good thing with sygic is that you can input the size and weight of your van.

Leo we have same MH as you, there is a built in satnav and it knows it is a MH for dimensions.
We use the Garmin too sometimes they read the same but Garmin could take you up a narrow road.
We also use the map and sometimes we do get lost , yesterday we couldnt use an exit and next one because of roadworks on motorway around Bordeaux but we got there eventually.
