Hi all, been away having me prostrate seen to. Horrible experience. Anyway, today I filled up the Dethleff Advantage 2006 water tank, pulled up the Trauma frost valve and opened the tap. Nothing. Shower nothing. Can hear the pump ( new ) working but not a drop.
So I'm airlocked. What are the handy ways of getting water around the system again ?
TIA and best wishes to all here.

Have you axcess to the pump, to see if the bowel is empty. Don't run it to long without water. Try taking off the shower head and pour water down the hose with the valve open and see if it reaches the pump, (with it switches off) keep all the other taps shut including the frost valve.
Sometimes the inlet hose to the pump in the tank can sit against the side or floor of the tank therefore blocking the draw of water. Open the inspection Cover and move the hose about whilst running the pump.

I may be misreading this but if you did it in this order then instead of filling the tank the water just ran straight through it. By pulling up the frost stat you are actually closing the valve and only then can you fill the tank.

Quite right Liam, it will never, fill or bleed out, what you think is a airlock, unless the protection valve is closed. ( hands up who doesn't know that for a fact 🤔😜) but eventually you will see water running out from under the van.

Ok. Opened the tank, turned a tap on, gave the pump a shake rattle and roll snd lo and behold water gurgled through the system - including into the Trauma which therefore hadn't been dumping the water as the tank was filling.
So thanks v much. Onwards and upwards as they say. Next up is a pair of airbags to steady this yoke on country roads.
