Another update, fantastic app now!!

https://www.campercontact.com/en

I'm enquiring if they would like all our Irish stopovers to add.

Ally, did you say this app was free. Every time I look they want me to be a Pro!

Computers me and Pro are words that will never be together with me😂

It would be a great addition if Camper Contact added all locations around Ireland

It's not free but worth the subscription. Have used it for Aires in France and Spain and have found it very useful. Can see photos and reviews. Have saved the subscription with a few free nights

I've always liked and used it but using it everyday in Spain and France I noticed some bugs. The new update has fixed them all and also with loads more benefits.

Professionally designed app with none of the dross of p4n, in my opinion.

The main 3 I use are Campercontact, Search for sites and CampingCar. I have 10 other ones on my phone but only check if one of the 3 didn't come up with anything

I have used campercontact for years.
The only flaw was that it was not controlled.
For example, if an area disappears and someone says so in a review, the area continues to be there.
Or, especially in Great Britain but also Ireland, I happened to arrive at a place reported by them and find a no overnight sign.
This is to say that lately I have found it less accurate.

An excellent alternative is parkfornight ( https://park4night.com/en ) which at least typically reports very recent reviews.
Inconvenience, it happens that it is used a lot by those who travel in small vans so the reviews must be read carefully paying attention to access and size of the place.
It also has both a free and paid App. Good interface for PC.

Park4night was the reason for a £75 fine after using it in the South of England.

Can you explain what happened and under what law or rule?

I find p4n cover’s every single aspect of camping ,parking , sleeping and much more,I don’t really want to go through other apps and camp site websites when I get parked somewhere just from a time point of view, but not the main reason.the reviews are so current and upto date people are reviewing aires and sites almost live, there’s a beach park up that’s new open in northern Spain that I went to that had 3 good reviews in the space of a week I think that’s very good
