'Morning Folks...just a puzzle! Of the 3 gas rings on my hob one will not hold the flame. I have opened it with a T6 x 75 mm and cleaned it thoroughly, the other 2 work and hold the flame just fine. Any ideas and TIA? Con

Did you try swapping over the burner to see if the problem moves.

I had a similar problem, had a gas fella look at it, said the thermocouple was gone on it. Replaced it for me. Not a big job ...

The thermocouple should sit in the flame like this, if not try gently pushing it into the flame, if it is then a reacement is probably required.

I tried lifting the hob after I posted initially and it was tight on one corner so decided not to force it. I went into the burner and wiggled it around and thought..."maybe this will be enough?'..so when I put it all back together she lit and held...magic! thanks y'all?
