stick on your sat nav, multiple vehicle fender benders, are the norm now.
lane changing at speed is a sport this weather

My son travels out from the around J12 heading south to J10 N11 at around 7.30, its moving all the time then, he advises you listen in a few mornings to Dublin City FM at 103.2 FM, they have a link to all the traffic Cams and give a good idea how things are going.

it would appear the problem appear mostly around J5 and J6 in particular after J5 Finglas every day some treat it like a dodgem track.
where do you have to be, later the evening before might be a relaxing journey.

Down the ramp as yourself calls it, or in this case up the ramp 😀

Well go the evening before, stay in Greystones, overnight, less than 2 hours from Rosslare.
How would that fit the plan. 🤔😊

I join the M50 going northbound at J5 Finglas about 7:40 , it’s usually solid going southbound from ballymun past Blanchardstown.
It only takes one fender bender to bring the whole thing to a stop, so I wouldn’t be cutting it too fine if I was you.
After 7pm the night before should be good, no worries then if there is a hold up.

If its Dublin port you are sailing from I've known people park at the filling station in the port.

There is a superb new aire with around 45 hardstands at the back of Jack Whites pub just off the M11 for €25 including 10A leccy. Great food in the pub including the famous 3 course for €20. It's 80 mins to the port. Only open a few weeks and already full on the weekends but you can phone ahead and book a spot.
Culletons pub at Rosslare as mentioned is also good. Food available but car park is small and fills up fast. Not bookable. You would need to arrive 5pm ish to be sure of getting a place.

If the Sailing is at 9 am. You are advised to be at the port at 7am so the closest you get to the ferry the night before would be best.
The Trading Post Camping & Caravan Park located just 30 minus ( approx) from Rosslare Europort, near the town of Enniscorthy.

Culletons pub at Rosslare as mentioned.
Or a bit further back in Drinagh, The Coal Bunker. will allow you stay witb food or drink.
I'm not too sure about getting stuck in a pub for the night, if you will need to be on the move shortly after 6 bells🤔😇😂

Last year in August we stayed at the campsite in Kilmore Quay, we asked could we leave early to get an 8:15 ferry, were told no problem . It was no problem opening the barrier and driving the few kilometres to Rosslare, had plenty of time , no rushing , very relaxed start to our trip.

It's worth noting that it's school holidays this week and next, traffic is massively reduced during these two weeks.

Last year we stayed at the railway social club 7 Saint Martin's Road. Just 2 minutes from the ferry. Just go in a have a pint or 2 and ask if you can stay for the night. They are very friendly in their.
