I have a bronze coloured french bottle almost empty. Going to France April so would be interested in getting it filled up.

Can you post a photo of the valve showing where the pigtail connects and the weight spec printed on the bottle side.OK

You can also exchange it when you land in France, if you have enough to last you until then.?

I have one (I think). It's french anyway.
I was able to buy an adapter to connect to our calor system from a motorhome dealer in France.
I have one gasit refillable bottle. When I'm at home, I use the calor & take the French one when I'm in France. These are only for back up as I try to use the refillable as it's cheaper.
When I know the other bottles are getting low, I use them until empty, then replace them.
Best of both worlds for me. As you know how difficult it is to accurately measure how much gas is in a bottle,.

I will be collecting the cylinders tomorrow and will post a photo of what they can fill.
Meantime this was today's set up for Spain.

I find the hot water method to be pretty good

That's exactly what I have except my Spanish cylinder doesn't have the high ring protector like yours in the photo, just two welded on handles like our Calorgas butaine. Bit of hassle getting new adaptor onto new cylinder but working perfectly now. New cylinder of propane here €14.65.

A selection of cylinders I got filled last week, all have the same connection as Roi Propane, male thread., the yellow one is a Spanish Repsol cylinder, ( one of the 50, they imported from Spain, they also imported 100 from Portugal), you need a Jumbo Regulator adapt for use with the ROI Pigtail ( as shown above in my earlier post ).for Spanish and ROI pop Top cylinders.
They also now have adaptor (I gave them one) in order for them to fill the UK cylinder with the Female pillar valve.
You would need to phone and call to their Depot. You can mention you got the information from here.
They only fill vehicle mounted cylinders
(GasFlow etc)
Tallagh Fuels.

Last thing their prices are excellent.
