Hi folks,
Can anyone recommend or know where I can get my gas pigtails changed in the R.O.I. (Dublin area) I have a 06 Motorhome still with original german pigtails and cylinders. I was thinking maybe time to change them for Irish cylinders but wondering has anyone else done this?
Have had no problem so far, but heard that they should be changed / upgraded after so many years...🤷‍♂️

Maynooth motorhomes, or you could probably do it yourself if you have a regulator attached to the van and use propane gas

you can get the ROI Propane pigtails on line for from. https://gasproducts.co.uk/ (in the post)

Newline Camper Conversions, Mullanour, Co. Wexford 52.311019, -6.538713 ( He might fit them for you)
While your at it, get a can of gas leak detection spray, always handy to give the joints a squirt every-time you change bottles

when you have the pigtails changed then go to. Tallaght Fuels Centre ,new gas location 53.291643, -6.387365

If your concerned about the weight of the bottles and want to reduce weight in your camper...you can use the gaslight propane bottles...I get mine in S and L gas distributors in greenogue Industrial Estate...I think the standard 11kg bottle is near half the weight of the steel bottle...there's very little difference in weight in the 6kg calor bottle though vrs the small gaslight bottle.

I’ve only seen the gaslight with the clip on type regulator. I asked in Finglas fuels about it last year and they said they don’t do the screw in type for that lighter bottle.

Gaslow 27mm Clip-On Gas Bottle Adaptor - Side Entry...that's what I have connected to my large gas light bottle and it also fits the 6kg calor patio gas bottle which i carry also for the bbq and backup for the gaslight bottle....I have a gas stop valve connected to the clip on adapter and then a high pressure hose to the truma regulator which is fitted to the van.....I highly recommend the gas stop valve as it shuts off the gas if you had a pipe burst...truma also do some with safety valves fitted to their hoses....as sprinter said,Hamiltons gas products are worth a look and even give them a ring,I found them very helpful when I was looking for fittings a while back.
